"State "Burro"crat," 2018, polyester resin

The name "Burro"crat combines the word "donkey" in Spanish used as a prefix to describe a ridiculous system that has is frustrating all over the world. We are made victims to an inhumane and complex network that most times does not even have a face attached to it. There is not much we can do except make fun about it. For me it is a form of catharsis and pay-back for all the productive hours I have lost when I could have been doing better things with my time. But in the case of an artist we can turn these experiences into creative ideas and production.
